Rakshita Integrated Rural and Urban Development Society is a nonprofit organization established on 13th November 2012 in Kalaburgi. The NGO is committed to development, education, health, and environmental programs aimed at uplifting underprivileged communities. It actively promotes cleanliness through the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and organizes street awareness campaigns against untouchability. Special attention is given to the empowerment and development of SC/ST communities through dedicated initiatives. Working across both rural and urban areas, the organization strives to ensure inclusive growth and social equity. Its mission is to create a just, healthy, and sustainable society through community participation and awareness-building efforts.

Awareness Program Sc&st Act Kalburgi Programs

On 23-03-2025, Rakshita Integrated Rural and Urban Development Society organized SC&St Act Awareness discussion Dist. Social Welfare Department Kalburgi. Under The program aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of untouchability and promote social equality. The street play captured the attention of the local community and delivered a powerful message against discrimination. Following the play, a discussion session (vicharagoshti) encouraged community members to share their thoughts and experiences. The event successfully fostered awareness, unity, and a spirit of inclusiveness among the participants.

Awareness Program on Solid and Liquid Waste Management under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen)

An awareness program on the management of solid and liquid waste was organized at Petashirur under the Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen). The initiative aimed to educate rural communities about proper waste disposal practices. Participants were informed about segregation of waste, composting, and the importance of clean surroundings. Demonstrations and discussions were held to promote sustainable waste management. The program encouraged active community involvement to maintain a clean and healthy village environment.

Street Play and Awareness Program on Eradication of Untouchability

On 07-01-2025, Rakshita Integrated Rural and Urban Development Society organized a street play and awareness discussion at Tarkaspet in Chittapur Taluk, Kalaburgi. The program aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of untouchability and promote social equality. We actively supports the Swachh Bharat Mission in Kalaburgi. The NGO organizes cleanliness drives in both rural and urban areas. Volunteers clean public spaces and educate people about hygiene. Street Awareness Campaigns Against Untouchability

To fight social discrimination, the NGO conducts street awareness campaigns across Kalaburgi. These programs focus on educating the public about the harmful effects of untouchability.
